E-mail is the most efficient means of communication with our office. Because e-mail eliminates the need for personal availability at the time of contact, it avoids telephone tag and allows message relays at all times of the day. If at all possible, please use e-mail as your primary communication with our office.

We handle a large volume of cases and receive hundreds of telephone calls. In addition, during the workday, Mr. Silzer is working on cases, representing clients at the Immigration office or seeing clients in person. Consequently, he is not available to take calls as they come in. However, it is important to us that your needs are always addressed in a timely manner. We have a trained staff to assist you and who will be available to assist you when you call. |
General questions can be directed to Dina Ward our Client Service Manager. Other information regarding the processing of your case can be directed to your Case Manager or the Application Coordinator.
In any event, please use the following guidelines when calling to help us give you the best service possible:
→ Give your full name, first and last. Many clients have the same or very similar names. Please spell out your last name to make sure there is no mistake.
→ Let us know why you are calling. This will help to have all the information you need available when your call is returned and help to direct your call to the appropriate person.
→ If you have questions regarding your application that has not yet been filed, ask to speak to your Case Manager. She will have up-to-date information about the status of your application and can often answer most questions relating to the processing of your case.
→ Indicate if you have an emergency situation . We realize that you are anxious to find out information on your case but please note that routine questions about the status or the process of your case are not an emergency. Emergencies might include: immediate travel, an impending deadline, arrest by Immigration, or an upcoming Immigration hearing or interview which requires urgent attention.
→ Leave all possible telephone numberswhere you can be reached and indicate the best time to reach you at specific numbers. Even if you have called before, leaving your number will expedite a return call as we will not need to look up your number.
→ If calling after hours, always clearly state (and spell) your full name, telephone number and message on the voice mail. If the message is not clear, we may not be able to understand and return your call. If you call during office hours, you will only hear the voice mail if all six incoming lines are busy. Please either leave a message or call back in a few minutes.
